The Art of Dining, an Introduction

Back in July, Anthony, a friend and co-worker approached me with a concept for Edie and Andy, that combined my love of lunch with my love of art. Well... sort of. At the time we began this project, we were both working at the Art Institute of Chicago as temps, and to spice up our daily routines, we embarked on a project in which we would "eat our way through the museum". The project was conceptualized all by Anthony, and  had four stops along the way, beginning with the subterranean break room in the lower-level of my office building, and working our way up vertically to Terzo Piano for a glamorous lunch with gorgeous views of the city.

I like to think of it as a sort of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives but all contained within a single museum complex with much better hair and less of that thing that involves wearing sunglasses on the back of my head. I will be posting content for this project over the course of the next few days, so as Ira Glass would say, "Stay with us."
