Letter to the Art Institute

Check out this hilarious letter exchange with my museum!! I'm sure the staff who received this much have had a good laugh, I know I did. Also, let's hope that all of our Picassos are safe and sound :)! HAPPY FRIDAY!

  2. So amusing but a total hoax - there's no Richard Elsworth of staff and that's not our letterhead (thank goodness!)

    1. I KNEW IT!! I had a feeling Richard Elsworth was a fake - but the faux letterhead was a really nice touch. I love the internet for creating such whacky things.

    1. Oh my goodness! How did you figure out that all of these were stolen??

Also - we figured out who whipped up these fake letters. It was Art on Track.

    2. Oh man, a few years ago I was doing research on stolen artworks. Just today I was digging up this information for a blog post about stolen artworks. I came across your blog post here again. Oh wow, this is totally making me laugh again.
